A Daunian Decorated Pottery Olla

Made of clay slip. Circa 6th – 4th  century BC. With broad funnel-shaped rim, the globular body modelled with four arched handles. Painted in brown and decorated with geometrical motifs and wavy lines.
10 3/8 in. high (26.4 cm. )
Condition: Intact.
Provenance: Bavarian collection 1985; American private collection  since 1985.
